German lawyers are subject to the provisions on occupational law set out by the Rules of Professional Practice (Berufsordnung für Rechtsanwälte - BRAO), the Federal Lawyers' Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung - BRAO), the Act on Lawyers' Fees (Gesetz über die Vergütung der Rechtsanwältinnen und Rechtsanwälte - Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz - RVG) and the Code of Conduct for European Lawyers (Berufsregeln der Rechtsanwälte der Europäischen Union - CCBE). The Provider has a professional indemnity insurance provided by HDI-Gerling Firmen und Privat Versicherung AG, Riethorst 2, D-30659 Hannover, Federal Republic of Germany. The territorial scope of the insurance coverage comprises legal advice in the European Union member states and complies at least with the legal requirements pursuant to sec. 51 BRAO.
